Programming Your Remote

You can program the universal remote to control most brands of remote controllable TVs,
VCRs and cable boxes. If you have an RCA, GE or ProScan component, you may not need
to program the remote at all. Other manufacturersÕ brands will need to be programmed.

Programming the Remote to Control Other Brands of Components

you want to operate, point the remote at the componentÕs remote sensor and press the
corresponding component button. Then, press the buttons

(VCR1, DSS•CABLE, VCR2•LD,

CD, AM•FM, TAPE)

that will be used for that component to see if it responds to the remote

commands. If not, you need to program the remote.
