vertical sizes, put the longer
original on the bottom; other-
wise the original size might not
be detected correctly.

Adjust the guide to the widest

Set the aligned originals face up
into the document feeder.
Thin paper mode

❒ Set to Thin Paper mode when you
place thin paper into the document
feeder; otherwise your originals
may be damaged.
