GETTING ACQUAINTED
Second (Additional) Printer
This machine features a port for connecting a second printer. When con-
nected, press the
key to switch between the two printers.
Note
Make sure that the power of your computer is turned off before making the con-
nection.
Connecting to a Second Printer
1 Turn off both the machine and your sec-
ond printer.
2 Connect one end of a parallel interface
cable to your second printer.
3 Connect the other end of the cable to
the second printer port, securing it in
place with the screws.
Note
• Only use a standard IEEE 1284 compliant
36-pin parallel cable.
