is not necessary to
change the settings
if you are happy with
the default setup.
MODIFYING THE SETTINGS
The unit has a number of Settings that you can alter. You can:
• Change the colours and brightness of the DISPLAY to suit the driving conditions or your own preferences.
• Use the ROUTE & GUIDANCE screen to instruct the unit to find the shortest distance or fastest time, to
avoid certain road conditions or to change voice settings.
• Select the POINTS OF INTEREST that are relevant to you.
• Change the format of certain settings in the GPS Status screens.
• Use the USER screen to clear your Favourites, Shortcuts or recent destinations from the unit’s memory.
