“Auto”: Select this for automatic setting of the subtitle language corresponding to the
"audio language" setting.

Select this for selection of the language with the code number of the "DVD
menu language code list".
“Auto”: Select this for automatic switching of frame still pictures and field still pictures.
Normally this setting should be used.
"Frame": Use this setting to improve the picture quality for still pictures. Two consecu-
tive fields (still images) are shown alternately. The image may be blurred.
"Field": Select this to prevent blurred still pictures. (The picture information becomes
one half of a frame. The picture quality becomes coarser.)
“On”: Select to enable conversion from NTSC to PAL.
“Off”: Select to disable conversion from NTSC to PAL.
