Command Dials
Your camera’s Main-Command dial and Sub-Command dial can be used alone or in
combination with other buttons to select various functions or modes.
Main-Command Dial
Use the Main-Command dial by itself or with various buttons to perform the following:
Rotating the Main-Command Dial by Itself
✔ Select the shutter speed in
Shutter-Priority Auto or Manual
exposure mode. Refer to
“Shutter-Priority Auto Exposure
Mode” on page 13-1 or “Manual
Exposure Mode” on page 13-8.
✔ Perform the Flexible Program in
Programmed Auto exposure
mode. Refer to “Flexible
Program” on page 13-13.
