For both sides
! Unscrew the sealing strip's
fastening screws.
! Screw-on the new sealing strip; do
not yet tighten the screws.
! To adjust height to floor slide in
3-5 mm thick spacers.
! Align the sealing strip.
! Tighten the fastening screws of the
sealing strip.
Only for the left-hand side
! Fasten sealing strip with the 2 hand
screws.
! Remount the covering.
Rear sealing strip.
! Empty the swept material
container.
! Unscrew the sealing strip's
fastening screws.
! Screw-on the new sealing strip; do
not yet tighten the screws.
! The sealing strip must rest on the
floor.
! Align the sealing strip.
! Tighten the fastening screws of the
sealing strip.
Front sealing strip.
! Empty the swept material
container.
! Unscrew the sealing strip's
fastening screws.
! Screw-on the new sealing strip; do
not yet tighten the screws.
! The sealing strip must rest on the
floor so that with an after-running of
20-40 mm it bends backwards.
! Align the sealing strip.
! Tighten the sealing strip's fastening
screw.
FAULT INDICATIONS
Warning lights are lit during
operation
• Engine oil pressure gauge warning
light
! Check oil level or call KÄRCHER
maintenance service.
• Battery charge indicating warning
light
! Call the KÄRCHER maintenance
service.
• Air cleaner warning light
! Clean or replace air cleaner at the
internal combustion engine.
• Cooling water warning light
! Check cooling water level.
Machine will not start
• Sit on the driver seat.
• Close unit cover.
• Fill fuel tank.
• Charge the battery.
• Notify KÄRCHER-Customer
Service.
The machine cannot be started
electrically.
• Check fuse.
Engine runs erratically
• Clean or replace the air cleaner.
• Check fuel feed.
• Notify KÄRCHER-Customer
Service.
• Check fuel filter.
Motor running but machine not
moving
• Check freewheel spigot for correct
position. For correct position see
"moving sweeper automotively"
• Notify KÄRCHER-Customer
Service.
Engine runs, but machine only
moves slowly
• Set throttle lever to "hare" symbol.
Machine not sweeping properly
• Check the main brush and the side
brushes.
• Make the coarse dirt flap movable.
• Slacken the bowden cable of the
coarse-dirt flap (adjusting screw).
• Tighten or replace the belts.
• Set throttle lever to "hare" symbol.
• Notify KÄRCHER-Customer
Service.
Machine making dust
• Make the coarse dirt flap movable.
• Slacken the bowden cable of the
coarse-dirt flap (adjusting screw).
• De-dust or replace the dust filter.
• Empty debris container.
• Replace sealing profile on debris
container.
• Adjust or replace the sealing strip.
Poor sweeping around the edges
• Replacing the side broom.
• Notify KÄRCHER-Customer
Service.
The raising mechanism of the side
brushes or the main brush does
not function
• Check the Bowden cables for the
raising operation.
• Notify KÄRCHER-Customer
Service.
The lowering mechanism of the
side brushes or the main brush
does not function
• Check the Bowden cables.
• Notify KÄRCHER-Customer
Service.
The side brush rotates jerkily
