Displaying the Time Stamp
You can select the time stamp that displays with short messages.
elect from:
• UTC/GMT (Universal Time - Coordinated): Records the time
when the Message Center sends the message to your phone
(based on Greenwich Mean Time)
• Local Time: Displays the time when your phone receives the
message
• Time Received: Displays the time your phone receives the
message in your home time zone (but only if current time is
available)
o select the message time display:
1. Press to display the Messages menu.
2. Press for Message Time.
3. Press the scroll keys to scan options: UTC/GMT, Time Received,
or Local Time.
4. When the desired option displays, press to save the
setting.
