1. From the Home screen, press then touch Settings ➔ Application settings.
2. Touch an application to view the available settings and refer to the section of this manual that addresses the
particular settings.
Network selection
The Network selection feature enables you to automatically or manually select the network used when roaming
outside of your home area.
Note: You can select a network other than your home network only if there is a valid roaming agreement between the two.
To change the Network selection mode:
1. From the Home screen, press then touch Settings ➔ Network selection.
Search now
To change the Network selection mode:
1. From the Network selection screen, touch Search now.
The phone scans for network connections and displays them.
2. Touch the network to which you subscribe and touch Select.
Default setup
To change your Default setup:
1. From the Network selection screen, touch Default setup.
2. Touch one of the following options:
• Automatic: you are connected to the first available network when roaming.
