Printer Jam or Paper Jam
Remove the jammed paper depending on where it is jammed in the fax machine.
Paper is jammed in the multi-purpose sheet feeder.

Remove any paper
from the multi-
purpose sheet feeder
that is not jammed.

Pull up the jammed
paper to remove it.
Note
If it is difficult to pull
the jammed paper, try
to pull it while holding
down the Paper Release
Lever.
Note
To improve the reliability of paper feeding, turn on Secure Feed mode by pressing
the
Shift and Hook/Hold keys simultaneously. The fax machine will then feed
paper more securely, but paper feeding will take a longer time. To turn off the
Secure Feed mode, simultaneously press
Shift and Hook/Hold again.
