Certificate details:
Certificates have a restricted
lifespan. To be sure that the identity
of a WAP gateway or a server is cor-
rect, check the signature and the cer-
tificate. You will be informed on the
phone’s display if something is
wrong. One of the following advi-
sors may appear:
Expired certificate, Certificate not valid
yet, Certificate corrupted.
Trust settings
First select a certificate. A list of ap-
plications which can use this certifi-
cate is shown. Before changing any-
thing make sure that you can trust
the owner of this certificate and that
it belongs to the owner on the list.

Select a function:
Barring restricts the use of your SIM
card (not supported by all service
providers). You need a 4-digit
password which your service provid-
er will give you. You may need to
be registered separately for each
barring.
Outgoing calls
All outgoing calls except emergency
numbers 112 and 999 are barred.
International calls
Only national calls can be made.
International calls except to
home ctry.
International calls are not permitted.
However you can make calls to your
home country when abroad.
Incoming calls
The phone is barred for all incoming
calls (the diverting of all calls to the
mailbox offers a similar effect).
