Making a phone call

Reject call
E Press the end key. The
caller will hear a "line
busy" tone.
The call may be diverted if
this has been set previ-
ously (p. 77).
Call waiting
You may need to register for this
service with your service provider
and set your phone accordingly
(p. 69).
During a call, you may be advised
that there is another call waiting.
You will hear a special tone during
the call.
You have the following options:
B Press Call during the call
to answer the waiting call.
The first call is put on
hold.
E Press briefly to end the ac-
tive call or hold down to
end both calls. Also:
OptionsKEnd all calls
If a second call is on hold:
B Press Swap to switch be-
tween the calls.
Conference
Call up to 5 parties one by one and
link them together in a phone con-
ference. Some of the functions de-
scribed may not be supported by
your service provider or may have to
be enabled specially.
You have established a connection:
M Enter the new number, or
use Contacts (p. 20).
D
Press the Call key.
The first call is automati-
cally put on hold. When
the new connection is
established, add the first
participant:
OptionsKConference
To add another person to
the conference, repeat
procedure and then
select:
OptionsKAdd to conference
