To activate the Close Flip feature:
1. From step 5 on page 50, select Close and press . (You will
see a message on the display.)
2. Press (left softkey) to continue.
3. Select an option from the following and press .
ᮣ End to end the call.
ᮣ Continue (Mute) to continue the call. Your voice is muted,
however you can hear the caller’s voice from the speaker.
ᮣ Contin (Unmute) to continue the call. You can hear the caller’s
voice and speak to the phone to answer.
Note: The Close Flip feature does not apply during 10-4 calls or when
you are using the speakerphone, a headset, or a car kit.
Setting the Side Key Guard
This feature enables you to lock the side keys while the flip is
closed.
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. Highlight Settings and press .
3. Highlight Others and press .
4. Highlight Side Key Guard and press .
5. Select On or Off and press .
Note: This feature does not apply when the flip is open.
Note: To release the Side Key Guard temporarily, with the flip closed,
press and hold (located on the side of your phone).
