Introduction
With the appropriate accessory, software, and connection, the mobile computer can share information with the host computer. This
chapter provides information about installing software and files on the mobile computer.
Download/software installations can be performed using:

ActiveSync
•
Initial Program Loader (IPL)
•
AirBEAM
•
SD card.
ActiveSync
Use ActiveSync to copy files and/or programs from a host computer to the mobile computer.
Copying Files
1.
Ensure that ActiveSync is installed on the host computer and that a partnership was created. For more information see,

2.
Connect the mobile computer to the host computer using a Single Slot Serial/USB cradle or an appropriate cable. See,
for connection information.
3.
On the host computer, select Start - Programs - ActiveSync.
