MDB Settings

The following MDB Settings are used:

System Number

Specifies the system number of the
SAP R/3 application server.

Use this property when you are not
using SAP load balancing. For
information, refer to

“Use Load

Balancing” on page 30

.

Any numeric value.

There is no default setting.

Client Number

Specifies the SAP client number used
to access the R/3 system.

An alphanumeric string. Do
not omit leading zeros.

There is no default setting.

User

Specifies the user ID used to log on to
the SAP R/3 system.

Any alphanumeric value.

There is no default setting.

Password

Specifies the password for the logon
user.

An alphanumeric string.

There is no default setting.

Language

Specifies the logon language used for
SAP R/3 access by the eWay.

A base language is required.
Languages include:

EN – English

ƒ

DE – German

ƒ

JA – Japanese

ƒ

KO – Korean

The default is EN, English.

System ID

Specifies the system ID of the SAP R/3
instance.

Any valid SAP System ID.

There is no default setting.

Character Set

Sets the character encoding of the
connecting SAP R/3 system.

Unicode or Non-unicode.

The default value is Non-
unicode
.
