If this function has been configured (consult service
personnel), you can set up external outgoing calls from
outside the system, just like an internal user. You can
also activate and deactivate the following functions in
your system:

Precondition: You have a telephone that uses tone di-
aling (DTMF dialing) or you can switch your telephone
to tone dialing. The telephone is not connected to the
system.

Set up a connection to HiPath 1200. Enter the station
number (DISA-MSN, consult service personnel) and
wait for the continuous tone (if necessary, switch the te-
lephone to tone dialing).

Enter your internal station number.

o

Enter your personal PIN and wait for the dial tone.

o

Enter the code, such as,

*

97 for Do not disturb on.

Make other inputs as necessary; (refer to the operating
instructions for pulse and DTMF telephones).

Dial the external number.

You can only execute one function at a time, or
set up only one outgoing connection.
The connection is immediately released after
successful activation of a function.
In the case of an external-external call, the con-
nection is released as soon as either of the par-
ties ends the call.
