Setup
The Setup menu contains sub menus that allow you to
configure your display, sounds, network preferences, security
options, as well as other settings.
Location
The GPS setting identifies your location to the network. You
can fully enable this setting or set GPS to work only in the
case that you dial 911 from your phone.
Check with MetroPCS to determine if/when/where location-
based services are available.
1. In standby mode, press the left soft key ( ) Menu , then
press , for Location . The Location settings listed
in the following table appear in the display.
2. Use the navigation key to highlight an option.
3. Press to select the function. You’re returned to the
Setup menu.

GPS location setting is on wherever the fea-
ture is available.
911 Only
GPS location setting is on whenever you
dial 911 only.
