Remote A/B/C/D Code

Switching

The remote control is capable of controlling four JVC video
recorders independently. Each of recorders can respond to one
of four codes (A, B, C or D). The remote control is preset to
send A code signals because your video recorder is initially set
to respond to A code signals. You can easily modify your video
recorder to respond to B, C or D code signals.

On Remote Control

DISPLAY CODE

Hold down VHS or DV on the remote control. The
code currently set blinks on the LCD panel.

CHANGE REMOTE

CONTROL'S CODE

Press the NUMBER key "1" for A , "2" for B , "3" for C,
or "4" for D.

SET REMOTE CONTROL'S

CODE

Press OK to set the code.

On Recorder

DISPLAY CODE

1

Press PLAY on the recorder over 5 seconds when the
recorder is turned off. The code currently set appears
on the front display panel.

● If the code displayed on the front display panel is

different from the code set on the remote control, go
to step 2.

CHANGE RECORDER'S

CODE

2

Press any key on the remote control. The code currently
set on the remote control will be applied to the
recorder.

NOTE:

During Power Save, it is impossible to change the remote
control's code.
