IP address of VN-C20 is
unknown
● This is 192.168.0.2 in the default settings, and
the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
● When the DHCP client is set to AONB, VN-C20
will run using the IP address in the default
settings when it is started up via a LAN in which
a DHCP server does not exist.
● If it is started up using a computer that is
configured within the same LAN, you can search
for the IP address using the search tool.
The web page of VN-C20
cannot be displayed
Check the Internet Explorer settings.
When a proxy server is in use, configure the proxy
server settings of the Internet Explorer accordingly.

The built-in viewer cannot be
installed
Check the Internet Explorer settings.
When an anti-virus software is installed on the
computer, this may prevent the built-in viewer from
being installed properly. In this case, install the built-
in viewer on a computer that does not have any anti-
virus software installed.
Authentication by Verisign
appears during installation of
the built-in viewer
Verisign's electronic signature is stored in the built-
in viewer.
For computers with a network environment that is
connected to the Internet, the authenticity of the
viewer can be verified via authentication by Verisign.

A warning message appears
upon starting up the built-in
viewer
When an anti-virus software is installed on the
computer, a warning message by the anti-virus
software may appear.
To prevent the warning message from appearing,
install the built-in viewer on a computer that does
not have any anti-virus software installed.

TCP images cannot be
played back
The maximum number of JPEG images that can be
sent by VN-C20 via TCP is 5, and up to 5 built-in
viewers can be connected to each VN-C20 unit.
Make use of multicast to monitor areas beyond the
above number.
VN-C20 allows multicast transmission of up to 1
stream.
