The Model 140 has many of the reliability, availability and serviceability (RAS)
features essential to today’s computing environments. The Error Checking
and Correcting (ECC) memory helps detect and correct many single-bit
errors. An LED operator status panel on the front of the system helps keep
you informed of the system status. Concurrent diagnostics enable you to
troubleshoot minor problems that may occur without requiring system
shutdown.
