1 POWER Press to turn your DVD/VCR on or
off.

3 DVD Press to change the player’s function
to DVD.
4 DISPLAY Press to open the on-screen display,
which provides current status
information and where you can
change settings and options.
5 TRK / In playback mode, press to adjust the
VCR picture on the screen.
In Menu mode, press to navigate the
on-screen menus.
6 SETUP/MENU Press to open the on-screen menus.
Press again to close the on-screen
menus.

PAUSE/STEP
Press once to pause playback or
recording. Press repeatedly to
advance frame by frame.

SKIP Press to advance to the next chapter
(DVD) or track (CD).
Press to return to the previous
chapter (DVD) or track (CD).

BACKWARD
DVD - Press to search backward.
VCR - Press to search a tape on fast
backward. In STOP mode, press to
rewind the tape (picture not visible).

Press to start playback.

(commercial skip) When playing a CD, press to play
tracks in random order.
In VCR playback mode, press to skip
ahead 30 seconds.

EJECT
Press to open and close the disc tray
or to eject the tape from the VCR.
19 VCR Press to change the player’s function
to VCR.
20 INPUT Press to toggle between VCR input
choices (LINE1 IN or LINE2 IN).

22 ENTER (OK) Press to confirm menu selections or
display functions on the TV screen.
23 / (Direction) Press to select menu options.
24 RETURN Press to close the on-screen display
and return to normal viewing.
25 STOP Press to stop playback or recording.

FORWARD
DVD - Press to search forward.
VCR - Press to search a tape on fast
forward. In STOP mode, press to

27 PROGRAM Press to show or hide the program
menu.
28 CLEAR Press to remove a marker from the
marker search menu.
29 ANGLE Press to select a different viewing
angle on a DVD (when available).
30 ZOOM Press to enlarge the DVD image to
two, three, or four times the original
size.
31 REC/ITR Press to start recording.
32 TITLE Press to display the title menu of the
DVD, if available.

SPEED In DVD mode, press to repeat a
sequence between points A and B.
In VCR mode, press to set recording
speed.
