Cleaning discs

Fingerprints and dust on the disc can cause
poor picture quality and sound distortion. Before
playing, clean the disc with a clean cloth. Wipe
the disc from the center out.

Do not use strong solvents such as alcohol,
benzine, thinner, commercially available
cleaners, or anti-static spray intended for older
vinyl records.

Resetting the DVD/VCR

Reset your DVD/VCR if you observe any of the
following symptoms:

When the DVD/VCR is plugged in, but the
power will not turn on or off.

When the display window does not work.

When the DVD/VCR does not operate
normally.

To reset the DVD/VCR:

Press and hold the POWER button for more
than five seconds. This forces the DVD/VCR
to turn off. Press the POWER button again to
turn the DVD/VCR back on.
- OR -

Unplug the power cord and then plug the
power cord again after more than five
seconds.
