E-mail @ Symbol
Depending on your service provider, the @ symbol used in most email addresses
may be replaced by an alternate symbol. Check with your service provider for more
information.
Expiry Period
This setting lets you specify the maximum time, in hours, that your unforwarded
messages remain with the message service center before they are deleted. The
default is 24 hours. The maximum value for this setting depends on your message
service provider.
Icon Messaging
If the Icon Messaging setting is On, icons can be inserted into a message from the
Message Editor’s Insert Picture menu. If Icon Messaging is Off, the Insert Picture
menu does not appear on the screen when you press
™ while in the Message
Editor. For information on inserting icons into a text message, see page 42.
Outgoing Message Type
This option is network-dependent and can be used to specify the format for your
outgoing messages: Text (default), Fax, X400, Paging, E-Mail, or Voice.
