To automatically lock your phone whenever
you turn it on: Tap T Setup in the application
launcher screen, tap Security, then set Phone Lock
to Power On.
To unlock your phone: When you see the
Enter Unlock Code prompt, enter your unlock code
to unlock the phone.
Tip: Your phone’s unlock code is originally set
to 1234. Many service providers reset the
unlock code to the last four digits of your
phone number.
Note: You can make emergency calls on a
locked phone (for more information,
see page 44). You also can receive and
answer incoming calls when the phone is
locked.

You can lock the touch-screen and phone
keys to prevent accidental key presses
(for example, when carrying your phone in a
purse or pocket).
Slide the phone lock switch down
(see illustration on page 2) to lock the
touch-screen and keys. Slide the phone lock
switch up to unlock the touch-screen and
keys.
