Replacing the power supply
To replace the power supply:
1 Remove the back panel by following the instructions in
“Opening the case” on page 35 .
2 Remove the processor fan by following the instructions
in
“Replacing the processor fan” on page 37 .
3 Unplug the power supply from the system board.
4 Pull the power supply release lever out (toward you)
until the power supply slides freely, then slide the
power supply out of the computer.
5 Slide the new power supply into the power supply bay
until it clicks into place.
6 Plug the new power supply into the system board.
7 Replace the processor fan by following the instructions
in
“Replacing the processor fan” on page 37 .
