Sanding belts
there are many types of sanding belts to choose
from. we recommend aluminum oxide for general
workshop environments. Below is a chart that
groups abrasives into different classes and shows
which grits fall into each class.

the general rule is to sand a workpiece with
progressively higher grits. refer to Section 5:
Accessories
on page 24 for replacement sanding
belts.
never use the Model G0563/G0564 for appli-
cations other than those for which it was
made. DO nOt overload the machine or
use excess force when sanding. Severe
personal injury, damage to the machine, or
damage to your workpiece could occur.
Emergency Stop
button
the Model g0563/g0564 is equipped with an
emergency stop button on top of the sander.
should an emergency ever occur during use of
the sander, immediately press the emergency
stop button. see
figure 14 for the emergency
stop button location.
