glasses, a respirator, and hearing protection

when operating this machine.

Loose hair and cloth-

hair away from moving

Operation Safety

SECTION 4: OPERATIONS

NOTICE

If you have never used this type of machine

or equipment before, WE STRONGLY REC-

OMMEND that you read books, trade maga-

zines, or get formal training before begin-

ning any projects. Regardless of the con-

tent in this section, Grizzly Industrial will

not be held liable for accidents caused by

lack of training.

Basic Controls

Refer to

Figure 16 and the descriptions below to

become familiar with the basic controls of your
ironworker.

A. Main Power Switch: Allows power to flow to

the machine—"

l" is ON, and "O" is OFF.

B. Power Lamp: Lights when power flows to the

machine.

C. Emergency Stop Button: Turns power OFF

to the machine, but does not disconnect the
machine from power. There are two emer-
gency stop buttons—on the main control
panel and on the left side of the machine.

D. Electrical Cabinet Door Latch: Allows entry

to the electrical cabinet when the main power
switch is in the

OFF position.
