Resetting the BIOS

Place a jumper across the CLR/CMOS pins of jumper J1D4, then remove
the jumper. The BIOS settings are cleared.

Resetting BIOS passwords
To reset BIOS passwords, you must reset and clear all BIOS settings. To reset
BIOS passwords, follow the instructions in
“Resetting the BIOS” on page 92
Warning
Moving the jumper while the power is on can damage your
server. Always turn off the server and unplug the power
cord and all other cables before changing the jumper.
