Adding Database Indexes to Enhance Performance
After installing MarkView transports, depending on your usage trends and data volume,
you might notice some performance issues in MarkView for SAP or receive Low Memory
warnings reported by SAP related to MarkView. To address these issues, add the appropriate
custom indexes to facilitate the queries that MarkView executes on ERP data.

Regenerating Transports with SAP Load Generator
To improve wait time and performance, use the SAP load generator to generate all MarkView
SAP transport objects after you load the new SAP transports.
1 Navigate to the SAP Load Generator window (transaction code SGEN).
2 On the Generation task tab, select Generate the objects of a transport request and click
Continue.
3 Enter the first package transport number, for example, E37K900733 and click Continue.
The Selection of Server for Parallel Generation window opens.
4 Verify the server and machine type and click Continue, which opens the Information
window.
5 In the Information window, click the green check mark to continue.
The Information window closes.
6 In the SAP Load Generator - Job Monitor window Schedule Load Generator in
Background Mode tab, click the Start Job Directly flag icon .
7 Repeat these steps for the remaining transports.
