Kofax Capture batch class. You can enable some or all of these options for some or all of your

suppliers.
▪ To use Non-PO Invoice and Standard Invoice submission, the supplier must have

the ability to create or access PDF versions of invoices. The supplier does not need to

upload PDF files when submitting PO Invoices, although they have the option to upload

supporting documentation during the submission process.
For Standard Invoice submission, suppliers follow on-screen instructions to submit

invoices from their computers. If uploading a PDF for invoice submission, the PDF

can represent a single invoice or multiple invoices. On the Invoice Submissions page,

SupplierExpress displays the status of the invoice transmission.

▪ To use Kofax e-Transactions submission, a Supplier Administrator installs the Kofax e-

Transactions Sender software on their system. When the administrator accesses Kofax e-

Transactions invoice submission, SupplierExpress presents the option to download the

Sender.
Once the supplier installs the Sender, the supplier applies a Kofax e-Transactions

configuration file based on your SupplierExpress setup. When the supplier uses the Kofax

e-Transactions Sender to transmit invoices, the Receiver installed at your company accepts

the invoices based on an electronic agreement made with the Sender.

Your company can view reports to determine if a supplier submitted any invoices

electronically. After the invoice information enters the ERP system, the supplier can see the

invoice in the SupplierExpress Invoice Inquiry window.

Non-PO Invoice Submission

When using this option, the supplier enters basic invoice header information, for example,

invoice number and amount, which expedites processing. SupplierExpress lets you configure

a list of Approvers or points of contact from which the supplier can choose.

When integrated with MarkView, SupplierExpress and MarkView combine to direct the

invoice to the correct processing queue.
▪ In SAP, the process creates a parked invoice and attaches the invoice image to the

MarkView Document.

▪ In Oracle, the process enters the invoice into the interface tables. To move the information

from the interface tables to the Accounts Payable tables, your company must run the

Payables Open Interface import. After the import process finishes, SupplierExpress

attaches the invoice to the MarkView Document.
For the best results, schedule the Payables Open Interface import process to run several

times a day.
Caution When configuring and scheduling the Payables Open Interface Import for

SupplierExpress, configure the import to apply the 170_SYSTEMS_HOLD during the

process. Doing so guarantees that MarkView immediately applies the hold to each

imported invoice. The hold remains in place until all workflow actions are completed and

the invoice is ready for payment.
Applying the hold prevents an imported invoice from circumventing the workflow if a

system component malfunctions.

In a Direct ERP integration, SupplierExpress creates an invoice with header information only

in the ERP system. SupplierExpress saves the invoice PDF to the storage location specified

during installation. SupplierExpress also creates an xml file that contains invoice information,
