Note: If the cable box's output channel is 02, 05 or 06, press the number buttons to select the channel.

If you use the cable box to receive only scrambled channels, first perform the same channel set-up
operation for Connection A, shown on page 33. This channel set-up operation allows you to by-pass the
cable box for channel reception.
To receive the scrambled channels through the cable box, use the cable box's output channel.
Example: If the VCR Plus+ channel for HBO Home Box Office is 33 and the cable box's output channel is
03.
1. Press the GUIDE button to display the menu on the TV screen.
2. Press button "6" for VCR PLUS SETUP.
