Chapter 7: Troubleshooting and Support
141
The camera
has a rattling
noise when I
shake it.
There is an
electronic
component that
senses the
orientation of
the camera
when you take
pictures. This
component
uses a small
ball inside a
metal fixture
and will rattle
when shaken.
This is normal.
The camera
gets warm (or
even hot) to
the touch.
You are using
the HP AC
power adapter
to power the
camera or to
charge the
battery in the
camera, or you
have been
using the
camera for a
prolonged
period of time
(15 minutes or
longer).
This is normal. However, if
anything seems out of the
ordinary, turn off the camera,
unplug the camera from the
HP AC power adapter, and allow
the camera to cool. Then examine
the camera and the battery for
signs of possible damage.
