Drives should be the same capacity to provide the greatest storage space efficiency when drives are grouped
together into the same drive array.
For hard drive numbers, see "Device numbers (on page
18 )."
To install the component:
1. Remove the hard drive blank.
2. Prepare the SAS hard drive.
3. Install the hard drive.
4. Determine the status of the hard drive from the hot-plug SAS hard drive LED combinations (" SAS hard
drive LED combinations " on page 19 ).
