Be sure to use the

[BOOTH]

output terminals for a balanced output.

If these terminals are connected to an unbalanced input (such as an
RCA or TS terminal) using a TRS to RCA converter cable (or a
converter adapter), TS cable, etc., sound quality may decrease or
unwanted noise may occur.

Connecting

1 Connect your headphones to one of the

[PHONES]

output

terminals on the unit's front panel.

2 Connect an output device such as a powered amplifier to the

[MASTER 1]

output terminals or

[MASTER 2]

output terminals.

To output the sound from the

[BOOTH]

output terminals, connect a device to

use as a booth monitor.

•

To use an output device such as a multi player, connect to the

[CH3]

[CH4]

input terminals and set the

[LINE/PHONO]

switch.

3 Connect the unit to your PC/Mac via a USB cable.

4 Turn on your PC/Mac.

5 Connect the AC adapter.

6 Press the

[



]

switch on the unit’s rear panel to turn it on.

For Windows users
The “preparing device” message may appear. In this case, wait until the
“ready-to-use” message appears.

7 Turn on the devices connected to the

[MASTER 1]

output terminals

and

[MASTER 2]

output terminals.

When a microphone, multi player, or other external device is connected to
the input terminals, turn on that device too.
