Backplane transfer parameters
Module Name:
0 to 80
characters
This parameter assigns a name to the
module that can be viewed using the
configuration/debug port. Use this parameter
to identify the module and the configuration
file.
Write Register Start:
0 to 3999
This parameter specifies the starting register
in the module where the data transferred
from the processor will be placed. Valid
range for this parameter is 0 to 3999.
Write Register Count:
0 to 4000
This parameter specifies the number of
registers to transfer from the processor to
the module. Valid entry for this parameter is
0 to 4000.
Read Register Start:
0 to 3999
This parameter specifies the starting register
in the module where data will be transferred
from the module to the processor. Valid
range for this parameter is 0 to 3999.
Read Register Count:
0 to 4000
This parameter specifies the number of
registers to be transferred from the module
to the processor. Valid entry for this
parameter is 0 to 4000.
Failure Flag Count:
0 to 65535
This parameter specifies the number of
successive transfer errors that must occur
before the communication ports are shut
down. If the parameter is set to 0, the
communication ports will continue to operate
under all conditions. If the value is set larger
than 0 (1 to 65535), communications will
cease if the specified number of failures
occur.
Pass-Through Events:
Y or N
This parameter specifies if event messages
received on the master ports will be passed
to the processor. If the parameter is set to N,
event messages will not be passed to the
processor. If the parameter is set to Y, the
module will pass all events received to the
processor using block identifier 9903.
