After you have created the IPSec connection, the account information will be displayed.

Name:

This is the user-defined name of the connection.

Enable:

This function activates or deactivates the IPSec connection.

Local Subnet:

Displays IP address and subnet of the local network.

Remote Subnet:

Displays IP address and subnet of the remote network.

Remote Gateway:

This is the IP address or Domain Name of the remote VPN device that is connected

and has an established IPSec tunnel.

IPSec Proposal:

This is the selected IPSec security method.

4.4.6.2 PPTP

PPTP is a set of protocols that enable Virtual Private Networks (VPN). VPN is a way to establish secured

communication tunnels to an organization’s network via the Internet.

PPTP function:

Select Enable to activate PPTP Server. Disable to deactivate PPTP Server function.
