SATA 300 storage adapters under normal operation.
3.3.3
Thermal and Atmospheric Characteristics
The operating (thermal and atmospheric) conditions for MegaRAID SATA
300 PCI-X storage adapters are:
•
Temperature range: 0 °C to 40 °C with BBU; 0 °C to 45 °C without
BBU (dry bulb)
•
Relative humidity range: 5% to 90% noncondensing
•
Airflow must be at least 200 linear feet per minute (LFPM) to avoid
operating the Intel 80331 processor above the maximum
ambient temperature
•
The heat sink temperature below 80 °C
