Table 3.7 lists the maximum power requirements for the MegaRAID
SATA 300 storage adapters under normal operation.
3.3.3 Thermal and Atmospheric Characteristics
The operating (thermal and atmospheric) conditions for MegaRAID SATA
300 PCI-X storage adapters are:
•
Temperature range: 0 °C to 40 °C with BBU; 0 °C to 45 °C without
BBU (dry bulb)
•
Relative humidity range: 5% to 90% noncondensing
•
Airflow must be at least 200 linear feet per minute (LFPM) to avoid
operating the Intel 80331 processor above the maximum
ambient temperature
•
The heat sink temperature below 80 °C
