Troubleshooting
Check the following items whenever you experience any problem with the Projector System.
Problem Cause and Required Action
Power does not turn on. z Make sure that the Control Box and projector power cords are plugged into a
power outlet.
z You may be pressing a numbered power key on the remote controller that is
different from the one assigned to the Control Box by the “Option Settings 3
Remote Power Numbers” setting. Press the [ALL] key on the remote controller
or the [P] (Power) key on the Control Box. After turning on the Control Box, use
the Setup Menu (page 10) to check which remote controller number key it is
assigned to.
z The Control Box may not be connected to the projector(s) with RS-232C
cable(s). Refer to the “Wiring” section of the “YA-S10 Setup Guide” and check
to make sure that all connections are correct.
z If, after checking the above, you are still unable to turn on power, the problem
may be a fatal Control Box error. Contact your original retailer or a specified
repair service.
A remote controller does not
work. z You may be trying to use a projector remote controller (YT-120). Use the Control
Box remote controller (YT-200) to perform Control Box operations.
z The remote controller batteries may be dead. Replace the batteries.
No sound. z With this Projector System, audio is output from the projector speakers (or the
line output terminal) only when the input source is HDMI. Audio is not output
from the projectors when the input source is RGB or component.
z If audio is not output when the input source is HDMI, try adjusting the Control
Box volume level setting (page 6). Also, check if the input source is outputting
audio.
No projection image. The Control Box may not be connected to the projector(s) with HDMI cable(s).
Refer to the “Wiring” section of the “YA-S10 Setup Guide” and check to make sure
that all connections are correct.
Blurred projection image. When there are two projectors connected to the Control Box, the positions and/or
“Image Shaping” settings of the two projectors may be misaligned. Perform the
procedures under “To shape the image to match the projection screen (two
projectors)” and “To adjust the position of the projector (two projectors)” in the
YA-S10 Setup Guide.
