LAN Settings
To change the login password
1.
Use the computer’s Web browser to display the Control Box System Admin
page.
z See “To set up a Control Box and computer LAN connection” (page 12).

Click “Change Password”.
3.
On the screen that appears, input the new password twice, once in the “New
Password” input box and again into the “Reinput Password” input box.
z You can enter up to eight single-byte characters as the password.
z Note that you will need the password you enter here the next time you log in to the System
Admin page. Make sure you do not forget the password you enter. If you keep a written record
of the password, take care to ensure that it does not become lost or fall into the wrong hands.
4.
To apply the password change, click the [Apply] button.
To return Control Box LAN settings to their factory defaults
1.
Use the computer’s Web browser to display the Control Box System Admin
page.
z See “To set up a Control Box and computer LAN connection” (page 12).
2.
Click “Restore Factory Defaults”.
3.
On the screen that appears, click the [Apply] button.

IP Setup
Obtain an IP address
automatically/
Use the following IP
address
Specifies whether you want to obtain an IP address automatically or
specify an IP address manually.
z Selecting “Use the following IP address” applies IP address, subnet
mask, and default gateway information that you input manually.
z Specification of IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway
information is not necessary (and is disabled) when you select “Obtain
an IP address automatically”.
Initial Default: Obtain an IP address automatically
IP Address
Specifies the Control Box’s IP address.
Subnet Mask
Specifies a subnet mask value, which specifies the IP address range of
the subnet to which the Control Box belongs.
Default Gateway
Specifies the subnet default gateway.
Box Name
Input up to 20 characters for a name to be used to identify the Control
Box.
Remote on
Specifies whether the Control Box can be turned on via wired LAN while
the Control Box is in standby (Control Box off with power being supplied).
Enable: Power on enabled.
Disable: Power on disabled (initial default).
