Using Wired LAN to Control the Projector System
The Projector System can be controlled by a computer or other external device by connecting the
device to the Control Box’s LAN port.
z The Projector System supports the commands of the Crestron Electronics controller and software
(RoomView
®
).

This section explains how to establish a LAN connection between the Control Box and a computer,
and then use a Web browser on the computer to configure Control Box LAN settings.
Important!
If this is the first time you are connecting a computer to the Control Box or if you are connecting
after executing “Initialize wired LAN settings” on the “Wired LAN settings” menu, you need to
perform the steps below before trying to control the Control Box over a LAN connection.

Settings
1. Connect the Control Box and computer to a network that includes a machine with a DHCP
server function.
2. Using the IP address automatically assigned to the Control Box by the DHCP server, display
the Control Box System Admin page.
3. Configure Control Box LAN settings using the procedure below.
