The pins on connectors are numbered in
the direction opposite to those on cou-
plings or flange sockets, regardless of
whether the connecting elements have
male contacts or
female contacts.
When engaged, the connections are pro-
tected to IP 67 (D-sub connector: IP 50;
EN 60 529). When not engaged, there is
no protection.
