Modifying monitor settings

1.

Click the Service tab.

2.

From the navigation tree, select IPsec VPN Manager > Options.

Click the Monitor Settings tab.
The tab displays an IPsec Tunnel Statistics area and an IKE Tunnel Statistics area.
IPsec Tunnel Statistics area

{

Receive Rate (bps)—Monitor the average receive rate (in bps) of an IPsec tunnel within every 5
minutes. The option is selected by default and cannot be cancelled.

Transmit Rate (bps)—Monitor the average transmit rate (in bps) of an IPsec tunnel within every
5 minutes. The option is selected by default and cannot be cancelled.

Inbound Drop Rate (%)—Monitor the packet drop rate in the inbound direction of the IPsec
tunnel. The option is selected by default and cannot be cancelled.

Outbound Drop Rate (%)—Monitor the packet drop rate in the outbound direction of the IPsec
tunnel. The option is selected by default and cannot be cancelled.

Receive Rate (pps)—Select this option to monitor the average number of received packets of an
IPsec tunnel within every 5 minutes.

{

Transmit Rate (pps)—Select this option to monitor the average number of transmitted packets of
an IPsec tunnel within every 5 minutes.

{

Number of Dropped Inbound Packets—Select this option to monitor the number of dropped

packets in the inbound direction of the IPsec tunnel within every 5 minutes.

{

Number of Dropped Outbound Packets—Select this option to monitor the number of dropped
packets in the outbound direction of the IPsec tunnel within every 5 minutes.

IKE Tunnel Statistics area

Number of Discarded Input Packets—Monitor the number of dropped packets in the inbound
direction of the IKE tunnel within every 5 minutes. The option is selected by default and cannot

be cancelled.

Number of Discarded Output Packets—Monitor the number of dropped packets in the
outbound direction of the IKE tunnel within every 5 minutes. The option is selected by default

and cannot be cancelled.

Receive Rate (bps)—Select this option to monitor the average receive rate (in bps) of an IKE
tunnel within every 5 minutes.

Transmit Rate (bps)—Select this option to monitor the average transmit rate (in bps) of an IKE
tunnel within every 5 minutes.

Receive Rate (pps)—Select this option to monitor the average number of received packets (in
pps) of an IKE tunnel within every 5 minutes.

{

Transmit Rate (pps)—Select this option to monitor the average number of transmitted packets (in
pps) of an IPsec tunnel within every 5 minutes.

4.

Click OK.
After the configuration is complete, IVM starts using the settings to monitor devices and generate
