Network requirements
As shown in
, Device B (DHCP client) and Device C (BOOTP client) obtain a static IP address,
DNS server address, and gateway address from Device A (DHCP server) respectively.
The MAC address of interface GigabitEthernet 0/1 on Device C is 000f-e200-01c0. The client ID of
interface GigabitEthernet 0/1 on Device B is
3030-3066-2e65-3230-302e-3030-3032-2d45-7468-6572-6e65-7430-2f30.

Configuration procedure
1.
Configure the IP address of GigabitEthernet 0/1 on Device A.
[DeviceA] interface gigabitethernet 0/1
[DeviceA-GigabitEthernet0/1] ip address 10.1.1.1 25
[DeviceA-GigabitEthernet0/1] quit

Configure the DHCP server
# Enable DHCP.
[DeviceA] dhcp enable
