Problem Possible cause Solution
Check main breaker.
Check fuse.
Unit does not run. No power to FSS.
Check transformer.
On/Off switch might not be
working.
Check Indicator Light.
Overload Relay may be
tripped.
Reset relay.
Return pump air supply
pressure is low. Check air supply to return
pumps.
Supply pump does not start.
Air pressure switch is tripped. Reset air pressure switch.
Suction screen or filters
blocked.
Check blocked supply pump
suction screen (check for
loose filter bag or paper
label)
Level switches.
Check proximity type level
switch (tank level is too low,
pump suction screen may be
uncovered)
Pump not running. Check supply pump
Loss of flow to the press.
Check piping to press.
Check Header supply has
blockage.
