Parcel Post Shipment
; Notify AEC, Inc. at once in writing, giving details of the loss
or damage. This information is required for filing a claim with
our insurance company.
; Hold the damaged goods with the container and packing
materials for possible inspection by postal authorities.
United Parcel Service Shipment
; Contact your local UPS office regarding damage and insurance
claims.
; Retain the container and packing.
; Notify AEC, Inc. at once.
2-3 If the Shipment is Not Complete
Check the packing list. The apparent shortage may be intentional.
Back-ordered items are noted on the packing list. You should have:
; AEC VacTrac central vacuum system components
; Bill of lading
; Packing list
; Operating and Installation packet
; Electrical schematic and panel layout drawings
; Component instruction manuals
Re-inspect the container and packing material to see if you missed
any smaller items during unpacking. Determine that the item was
not inadvertently taken from the area before you checked in the
shipment. Notify AEC, Inc. immediately of the shortage.
