In addition to a Maintenance status indication, the Voltage on pin 24 is used to power the electronic
components that reside on the A.I.U.-side of the opto-isolation barrier. When no System Interlock Input is
present, this pin must still be powered by between +15 and +28V (and its return line connected to “-“) in
order for the RC2500 drive system to function.
