4.3 Set-up
WARNING!
The set-up of the heat pump may only be car-
ried out by trained specialists.
n
The heat pump must be set up indoors.
n
A condensate drain must be available.
n
The heat pump must be set up horizontally.
n
Suitable installation sites are dry, clean, frost-
free rooms with a level floor, which exhibit a
height of no less than 2.15 m.
n
The heat pump must be installed on a firm,
level surface.
n
The surface must possess sufficient load-
bearing capacity for the weight of the heat
pump.
n
The height-adjustable feet can be used to level
the heat pump precisely .
n
The heat pump is to be mounted in such a way
that sufficient space is available on all sides for
purposes of installation and maintenance.
n
In order to keep output losses to a minimum,
the heat pump should be set up as close as
possible to the hot water consumer.
n
If the supply and exhaust air from neighbouring
rooms is to be used, ensure that no positive or
negative pressure can build up in the rooms.
Use of a circulation system
It is not advisable to use a circulation system
because the loss per running metre of piping can
be approx. 25- 30 Watts. However, if such a
system is installed then a timer and a thermostat
should be installed with it.
NOTICE!
To avoid damage to the system, the installation
location must be dry, capable of carrying the
load and frost-free.
NOTICE!
Keep the hot water heat pump and lines free of
frost

substances (ammonia, sulphur, halogen, chlorine,
etc.)! This can cause the destr. of machine parts!
Air connection
The air take-off point should be selected with con-
sideration to a high average air temperature and
the requisite air volume of 350 m

/h. Air inlets and
outlets are at the top. In order to keep the air
resistance to a minimum, the air intake and
exhaust duct should be configured as straight as
possible, with a minimum smooth tube cross-sec-
tion of Ø 150 mm. The entire tube length for the
