Displaying Switch & Sense 8 descriptor information
USB modules like the Switch & Sense 8 use descriptors to inform the computer of the module's capabilities and
characteristics. Use the descriptor feature to display Switch & Sense 8 descriptor information.
1. Click on the specific Switch & Sense 8 node.
2. Click on the toolbar icon.
"Display" menu option
You can also access this feature by selecting
Display from the USB menu.
A USB Device Descriptor dialog opens showing the descriptors for the Switch & Sense 8.
3. Click on the button to close the dialog.
Deleting a Switch & Sense 8 from the CbUsb.cfg file
Use the delete feature to remove a Switch & Sense 8 from the configuration file.
1. Click on the Switch & Sense 8 node you want to delete.
2. Click on the toolbar icon.

You can also access this feature by selecting
Delete from the USB menu.
The selected Switch & Sense 8 node is removed from the ComputerBoards USB list.
Changing a Switch & Sense 8's serial number
Use the serial # feature to change a Switch & Sense 8's eight-character serial number.
1. Click on the Switch & Sense 8 node whose serial number you want to change.
2. Click on the toolbar icon.

You can also access this feature by selecting
Serial # from the USB menu.
The Assign new serial number dialog opens.
