3 HARDWARE INSTALLATION
3.1
BASE ADDRESS
Unless there is already a board in your system using address 300h (768 Decimal), leave the switches as they are set at the factory.
In Figure 3-1, the CIO-DAS6402 is set at base address 300h. See Figures 3-6 and 3-7 for the locations of the switches

3.2
D/A OUTPUT RANGE SWITCH (CIO-DAS6402/16 ONLY)
The analog output ranges of the CIO-DAS6402/12 are set via software. The analog output ranges of the CIO-DAS6402/16 are set
by dip switches on the board (Figure 3-7). Figure 3-2 shows the the allowable switch settings and Table 3-1 gives the range/switch
settings.
