The chase runs as a combination of a fixture sequence and a chase pattern.

Direct-Mode, a step always consists of one fixture/Par moving light
in
the
SEQ1 – SEQ8 mode, a step consists of one fixtue/Par moving light or a group of
fixture/Par moving lights
If a chase pattern is programmed in the DIRECT
mode, the fixtures are always recalled according
to the sequence of the keys in the Fixture/PAR
selection (see Fig. 1). Every chase step
addresses only one fixture.
However, this mode cannot be applied to all
stage settings, since the fixtures are often not
arranged according to their sequence in the
Fixture/PAR selection (see Fig. 2) or sometimes
more than one fixture (-> a fixture group) should
be addressed.
For this reason, you can determine the fixture
sequence on Page 2 of the chase generator.
